Payroll Deduction

Payroll deduction allows for a portion of your paycheck to be deposited to your account at Jackson Area Federal Credit Union. While you still have money on your paycheck, just that portion comes to your savings account. Maybe you have direct deposit set up somewhere else but you want some money coming to the Credit Union. Set up Payroll Deduction and it will be sent automatically, just like your direct deposit.

To set up a payroll deduction, contact your payroll department and see if they require a form to be filled out by one of our representatives. If so, we will be glad to assist you with this. If your payroll department has their own forms, you will need your routing and base account number. The base account number can be found on your statements or membership card (not the ATM or Debit card). Then you will give the payroll department the routing number 265 377 073 and indicate it is a savings account. If you have another account that you would prefer it to go to, contact us to make the updates when the payroll deduction comes into the savings account.

If you already have a direct deposit set up to come to Jackson Area Federal Credit Union from the company you wish to set up Payroll deduction from, that will not be necessary. Stop by the Credit Union or call us, so we can set up the funds to be transferred each time you get paid to the account of your choice.
